Vernal Equinox Ritual

Sunday, March 19, 2017 - 0 Comments

Sunday March 19 at America’s Stonehenge

Salem New Hampshire

At the Vernal Equinox the sun rises opposite from where it sets, making night and day of equal length. In these moments the veil between the worlds gets thinner and opens up portals for lots of light to enter the planet. This light only anchors if we call upon it otherwise it becomes a lost opportunity. Ancient sites were built to gather charge particularly at these key times in the cycle of the year; the golden mean ratio and sacred geometry allowed the cosmic forces to embed constructively to make bio-electric fields that charge seeds, promote life, and decrease aging. We gather at this time to assist the earth and humanity to come into balance and greater possibility in life.
According to the Dagara People of West Africa we are in a Fire year. Fire is the energy that runs through all expressions of life giving life motivation and passion to express its purpose. Fire transforms through destruction. Fire communicates messages from the other world and connects us through dreams and vision. Fire always lived at the center of community pulling people together as we sought out its warmth and light to navigate the darkness. The white race was bestowed with the task to steward Fire in this world. Too long the white race has used it for combustion that pushed life apart. We now have to remember how we use it to come together and heal our relationship with the other world and particularly our ancestors.

Autumnal Equinox Ritual

Saturday, September 22, 2018 - 0 Comments
The Fall Equinox marks a balance point between the in-breath and out-breath of the earth, light and dark when the sun rises opposite from where it sets making day and night equal in length. It briefly marks the union of opposites when the forces that shape our world come into balance. It is the time of the culmination of the harvest that fruit has made it to seed so life can continue and this is never a given, certainly not in a time of climate change. We see the sharp contrasts in this growing season where we get drowned in water and the West coast and Europe are shriveling up in drought. This is a nature year according to the Dagara people of Africa and nature with its ever changing face is being challenged to survive. We never can take anything for granted and so we come together to attune ourselves to the forces of the universe and nature to give praise, gratitude, to give back and keep, our Mother Earth alive.

The winds and frost slowly strip away the last of the leaves; form no longer needs to be maintained as it has completed its cycle. Life’s expression has been reduced to its bare minimum to help us focus on the inside and dream the next stage into being. All cycles call for rest, regeneration, and renewal to strengthen the foundation for life to continually to be able to express itself. In order to spread our light we have to be connected to our inner light and the greater forces of the universe that stand behind that light and inspire us to vision. Winter is the yearly opportunity to slow us down enough to move into the now and be present to what lives within.
.

We turn our attention to the solstice, sun-stand-still and the point of light returning, and remember the continuation of the steady rhythms of the in-breath and out-breath of the earth and the sun as they dance together journeying through space. The going within gives us another opportunity to dream the world anew. This growing season has been particularly challenging and it feels like a relief to have it pass and try sprouting life again fresh in the next growing season. That are the gifts and blessings of the cycles, there is always a new opportunity to do better. The winter time is the time to sort and figure out what worked or not, what needs to be composted and what are we empowering with our dreams and beliefs.

.

According to the Dagara people of West Africa, we are coming to the end of this nature year of transformation and change that many of us have been experiencing intensely. It has been a year of challenges as all that does not resonate with the vibration of the new earth has come to the surface. At the same time the light has been increasing and lots of powerful energies have been set in motion to help us to break up the old patterns. The challenges have also been reflected in the natural world where failures and successes have come into stark contrast that will have its reverberation in the time to come, as we in MA have no acorns, which is a major food supply for many animals to get them through the winter. The gifts were the plentiful mushrooms and an amazing crop of berries. Now we ready ourselves to move into a mineral year helping us to remember why we are here, but also to be conscious of what we think and communicate as it sets energy into motion. It also facilitates our process to move up the spiral of evolution from a carbon based body into our fifth dimensional crystalline bodies. An opportunity to rewrite our story and stepping into our divine purpose to contribute our particular gifts towards the challenges our planet and all life faces. We have been encoded to be a solution to a missing link and we have been given everything we need to make this manifest.

The rituals are public and very participatory and involve some preparation to be done at home. For the full info click here.

Vernal Equinox Ceremony

Vernal Equinox Ceremony

.

Saturday March 23 from 1 – 4 pm.

.

At America’s Stonehenge, Salem NH.

.

The Vernal Equinox this year provides a powerful gateway as it coincides with a full moon. The Equinox is a balance point between light and dark, yin and yang, spirit and matter, the abstract and the concrete. It announces the awakening of the earth as it begins to propel life forward in rapid succession assisting the growth and expansion to ultimately reach optimum dimensions at the solstice point. This is a vulnerable time for the young life as it faces the challenges of unpredictable weather patterns and potential late frosts. Ceremony is our way to midwife the birth of the new life and pray for the protection of the young life so that the sprout can make it to flower, fruit and seed and life can continue. We attune ourselves to the rhythm of nature and become aware of our impact on the life around us to make sure we do our part to protect the awakening life.

.

We are in a time of major changes that affect us personally as well as globally. More and more people express concern about climate change, but changes are also experienced in our political and economic climate. The question arises how do we become resilient to handle these changes? We look at the indigenous ways that have been time tested throughout the ages. Following the cosmology of the Dagara people of West Africa we have entered now a mineral year. The wheel is universal as it reflects the energy patterns of what is surfacing right now. Mineral is the record keeper of the past and the storage house of the future. Mineral helps us remember and is connected to our divine purpose. Its conductivity makes it part of our communication system. Speech, thoughts, stories, memories, and creative ideas are part of the mineral realm. Mineral operates slowly and stands opposite of nature that transform rapidly. This year will have a very different feel to it than last year’s ongoing transformations, it may feel easier. Some key pieces we are here to remember is that we are one, who we truly are, and what we empower through our thoughts, words, feelings, and actions that makes us creators of our own reality. Also the deeper stories are emerging, the records are being released, the hidden is going to be made more and more visible as the new earth will not tolerate frequencies that are not vibrating at the level of the New Earth. This Equinox will accelerate our awakening and the awakening of humanity. For more info with the full description, preparations, and intention click here.

Summer Solstice Ritual

Summer Solstice Ceremony 2019

.

Saturday June 22, at 1 pm

At America’s Stonehenge, Salem NH

.
Actual solstice moment: 11:54 am June 21
.
Solstice means sun-stand-still; the sun has traveled to the furthest point in the North appears to stand still for a couple of days before it starts its return trip to the south at which the days will shorten again. It is the moment of optimum light in which the sun describes the biggest arc in the sky. At the summer solstice the green nation will pretty much have reached its optimum dimensions and from this moment on the process of maturing and strengthening takes place turning the energy back inward to focus on fruit and seed. For the Native Americans this is the strawberry harvest ceremony as this is the first fruit of the season that has come to full maturity and has complete seeds. In the face of climate disruption growing food adds another level of unknowns as outcomes become unpredictable. We honor the sprout that made it to flower, praise it, cheer it on so it can make it to a viable, fertile seed as life depends on the continuation of that cycle. .
.
This is a mineral year according to the Dagara people of West Africa. Minerals store information and are conductors of energy and information; they hold the memory and the building blocks of the planet. The biggest pieces that will move us forward into the light is for us to remember that WE ARE ONE and become conscious of what we empower with our thoughts, words, feelings, and actions. Mineral is connected to communication, networking, structure, foundation, remembering, purpose and, a big piece, it provides the building blocks for life that allows every expression of life to come into its optimum physical perfection and vibrant health. Ceremonies are a way to align us with the elements that serve life and the seasonal changes life goes through to move from its inner source to its outward expression; from seed to sprout, to flower, to fruit and seed again. Ceremony is a way to feed that what feeds us truly and keep the earth and all her life alive. Ceremony aligns us with the forces of nature, to help us remember to follow the laws of nature, and come into a balance with nature so it will continue to feed us and the generations to come. We are here to remember to return to our sacred stewardship of our Mother Earth and all her life who has been diligently serving everything and everyone through her ongoing love providing everything that life needs to come to its fullest expression. Nature only gives us feedback, it thrives when we feed it love and has been on the decline and is collapsing ever since we stopped loving that what truly supports life as we now face the enormous challenges on the planet. Paying attention to the mineral kingdom’s knowledge and its nutrients will help us to nurse ourselves and nature back to wholeness.
